HELMET STICKERS

A portable pressurized fire extinguisher, the 'Extincteur' was invented by British Captain George William Manby and demonstrated in 1816 to the 'Commissioners for the affairs of Barracks'; it consisted of a copper vessel of 3 gallons (13.6 liters) of pearl ash (potassium carbonate) solution contained within compressed air. When operated it expelled liquid onto the fire.

Donuts are the most amazing little bundles of delicious you can find in a firehouse. Just be quick about getting one cause they don't last long. Oddly enough, the strawberry frosted with rainbow sprinkles is one of the first to go. So, for all my donut-loving brothers and sisters, I give to you... Donut sprinkle tets. Enjoy.

Life as an EMT is just like this stretcher ride... It's a scary, white-knuckle ride all the way to the end with moments of silliness, sadness, confusion, depression, disappointment and reflection but for those of us who do it, it's one of the most rewarding experiences to help someone on a bad day.

Some of us love our shifts and wanna show a little pride over the other ones. These are sold individually, are non-reflective and have a matte finish. And in case the Chief asks, they are totally NOT NFPA approved.

Leave that nozzle alone at the door and take too long to mask up? Watch out for this little assassin. They will push you over and fly through the door stealing your nozzle, leaving you at the front door to hump hose or worse, find yourself buying dinner because the photographer outside caught your big butt staring in at the fire that should have been yours.

A classic hose load that’s only popular once a year… don’t really know if it’s better, don’t know how to roll it and definitely don’t know how to carry it, but after a few pints and a bottle of Bushmills, we’ll have it all sorted out.
